Need Cute FTP help with tar file

Afternoon - going along reviewing today and my script screws up because of some stupid ass submit.

Lost my Hardcore page.
I have a back up from last week, but I can't seem to upload it from Cute.
It was in a tar file, that I extracted, but everytime I try to upload that file, Cute quits.

Windows XP professional and Cute 4.0

Any help or any other way to upload that page? It's just a simple html page about 68k

Thanks!

No error messages from cuteftp? How about in the ftpd's log on the server?

Is there a NAT device between your computer and the internet? If so, first thing I can think of off the top of my head is to make sure that CuteFTP is set to do passive ftp.

Also, there is a command-line ftp client built-in to Windows that you can try if you can't get Cute to work.

For whatever reason - I'm still not sure.
However, I was able to go through C:\\.. path\hardcorehtml.
View source and copy and paste.
Go figure.
Anyway it worked.
Thanks Airdick - checking out that way right now
