.xxx is getting ALOT of criticisms... are we surprised???

What about sex ed videos

Alot of them these days are racier than back in the day, they are not as tame as they used to be. Those sex ed websites that are offered to students... will they be forced to add a "porn" oriented tag to their domain?

I think this is tricky b/c what can you classify as porn and content that is just sexual in nature but educational in purpose? You can't dump all X rated material in one domain..

I think people are over-reacting. And I remember reading an article that it makes more sense to go in for .kids instead of .xxx.

I also agree that its way over reacting - no one will "have to" change over to these domains and its a pipe dream if anyone thinks someone down the line will come up with a requirement to do so. I can also tell you that no one can force you to lose your .com because of its content - unless its just plain illegal which is a totally different ball of wax

I sure wish all the doom-sayers that keep posting these kind of bullshit threads would keep their thoughts of paranoia to themselves and their well-deserved shrinks

I read the CNN version of the article and the end clearly stated that most webmasters will continue to use the more traditional .com domains. Says to me that no imminent plans to force anyone over are afoot. Plus I don`t think such a scheme could ever fly.
