Want to make a killing on sports?

I'm not sure if anyone in here is betting or not, but everyone is looking for profits so...

I've been buying bets from http://www.atsbets.com about a year and I'm doing pretty good. I'm currently buying from 2 of the experts but looking to spread my risk further. Would anyone be interresting in sharing the costs of profitable bets?

Last 30 days from their 8 experts:
name - win - loss - hit% - profit

Jack Pappano 62 - 20 (75%) +50.6 units
Rodney Whitehurst 52 - 24 (68%) +26.1 units
Red Hansen 45 - 31 (59%) +14.9 units
Peter Schoenke 38 - 36 (51%) +9.6 units
JB Floyd 39 - 31 (55%) +7.9 units
Mike Harmon 40 - 36 (52%) +2.7 units
Jimmy Toliver 39 - 45 (46%) -5.2 units
Roger Pitzer 36 - 48 (42%) -16.2 units

Total: 351-271 (56%) +90.4 units

Aka if you for instance staked $100 per bet you would have profited $100 x 90.4 units = a profit of $9040 during that 30 day period...

Cost for all of them with a discount would be around $4500 a month total so would be cool with a small group to share the cost and profit with. Any takers?

the juice on the losses kills you though and the profit shrinks right up... i bet for fun, not to make money... hit a nice 5 team parlay and drink myself silly for three days

kinky: not really.. +61.7 units was the profit included every loss.. they use standard lines so it's pretty easy to get better lines by shopping at the best books.. i bet for profit not fun.. (even though I do enjoy sports)

When I was 14 I was selling "guaranteed" method how to win in roulette. You won't believe how many stupids bought it.

so if $800 returns $9k in 30 days, and $9k would return $111k in 30 days, why do you need partners?

Seems to me I wouldn't want to be splitting that type of cash and involving a partner would just take a piece of my pie.

Well, the point is that the only one who made some money from that method was me ... and the casinos.

i bet thru the italian guy at the local pizza shop... i do pretty good betting by myself but one of my buddies really has a problem and when we get together we start playing ever single game on tv (we had 7 tvs set up in his living room last football season) and we end up losing our asses... i am looking forward to the degenerate gamblers late night hawaii games this season though

fido: I'm sure you made good money fooling people

cd34: where would you get the numbers from? I'm not looking to split any profits, I'm looking to split the cost. If I share the bets with 10 people that won't affect my profits, only my costs. I still think it's a bit much to be paying $4500 a month myself as you need good money management to survive bad periods, but guess I could do it alone...

Man I was 14 and never been in casino, lol, I believed it that system too. And now when I am looking back I would say that these people fooled themselves. Jensen, tell me something. Do you really believe, that someone would have guaranteed method how to win (in casinos, lotteries, sports betting, ...) and that he will share it with the others?

Fido: your illustrating that you don't really know what you're talking about here. You have to separate between the mathematical games of casinos and lotteries. They are designed to give the house a 1-2% edge and always give the owners the profit they need. I'm trying to sell someone a 100% guaranteed way to get rich. Read on if you want to learn something today.

Sports is not mathematical. The linemaker is not predicting which team will win (and by how much) when he posts a number. He is actually predicting which team the general public thinks will win, and by how much. Because sports betting is different from other forms of gambling, you can gain and keep an advantage. In sports betting, large bookmakers merely act as brokers; they have no vested interest in the outcome of the game. My 'opponent' is not the bookmaker but the player betting on the other side.

you list 8 events, $800 invested that returns $9040 in 30 days. Total cash in hand at the end of 8 events, $9840. (Initial $800 + $9040 profit) Imagine the return if you parlayed it.

Same performance the next 30 days, $9840 invested returns $111,192.

If I had the method for riches like that, you can damn well bet I'd be greedy and wouldn't share it. Well, not really, I probably would share it, fellow man, humanity and all that.

cd34: no i'm not, read it again. I'm listing 8 punters and their record the past 30 days. Your numbers will just be wrong when you don't understand that. Total cost of buying from the 8 different persons is $4500. How much you bet per bet after that doesn't matter to me, and what I bet per bet doesn't matter to anyone else.

Fido: how can I take you seriously when you're saying that betting on casinos and sports is the same?
