I'm not GG and I don't play him on TV but I would have rejected it because the enter link is barely visible

I have to agree with Surfn, red on brown (or orange) isn't the best color combination around.

I agree, you need to contrast the text. In art class they go over this pretty hard and how it really effects the end users reaction to what you are selling.

Red and black are good, but red and pink are a hard sell. Stick with the KISS rule. "Keep it simple stupid" whites, blacks, reds, blues, green, yellows etc.That orange is fine but white and black and yellow are really the only things what I think will work with it.

What I would do TinCan is simple and easy...just make the cell with the enter exit links transparent. Then it will be red on black same as the main page.
