i done some searching on google to see what is used name wise for link lists and thinking up a name for a hub or small private link list site , thinking about planting seeds for it , here is a title

" porno plenty xxx links" or if greenguy thinks i am infringing on his link site name

"link o plenty porn links " gg yet me know if that is to close to your site name

what do you guys think i might take a few email submits and hopefully some of the linklist people here will trade a few links of there link sites and trade some of there free sites i know a dont have many of my own sites and i think i got a good name for this thing i want to plant you never know it might take off and we all can make the" long cash " tell me if you think i am pipe dreaming

If you are doing a hub I would just put it at the root of the domain that you build your stuff off of.

i think i might lean towards a link list combo hub site and if nobody submits so what i will build to get se traffic and if nobody wants to trade links thats ok too it can sit out in cyber space like some of my first couple of sites a

cleo how much bw does your site use a month cant be very much ?

I'm guessing you are talking about my link list domain. It tends to burn between 50 to a 100 gigs a month, but my banner rotator runs off of that domain so not all that BW is used directly by my link list. Of course I burn a whole lot more BW than that per month with my other domains, especially my kinkycleo domain.

I am not on a virtual account, I'm on my own servers, no one else is on my servers except for who I've put on my servers.

If you are on your own server then you can have as many real domains as you want for no extra charge except for the cost of buying the names.

I use a real domain for when that is best and sub folders for when that is best.

There are many advantages to making the root of the domain that you build your promotional stuff off of including the fact that it tends to get SE traffic and surfers poking around to see what is at the root of the domain of the gallery that they are looking at.

Basically what I'm trying to say is if you are not on your own server then you should really think about the fact that putting your hub/list list/thingy on its own domain probably is not the best idea since it means paying for another virtual account and most of your traffic is going to go to the domain that you are promoting off of anyway.

I even think now that you mention that it is better to put that kind of site at root of domain and try to pick a domain that refers to a porn link list se like root domains good advise

could always move site later to its own domain

the hosting i started with does'nt offer over 50 gigs of transfer per account so some time down the road i will move a domain to new host can that be done with out people getting 404s in the process plus from reading threads webmaster should mail link people and tell them any advise

Once you start building and doing TGPing you will burn way more then 50 gigs, but first learn how to sell.

When you do move to another host always leave the old one up for about a week after you have moved all of your stuff to the new one. By leaving both your old host up and your new host no one will even know that you have moved since the DNS will be good even if it hasn't been updated everywhere yet. Just be sure to get all your files uploaded before changing domain name servers.

When you are ready to move up to a better host check out the one in my sig. They host all of my stuff and are great.
