Twas the day before Thanksgiving.....

No, there's no whitty version of the Christmas story here - LOL

I can tell I'm getting old. Or comfortable - one of the 2.

The night before Thanksgiving was always the biggest bar drinking night of the year when I was an early 20's drunk. From what I hear, tonight is still a big bar night, but I have no desire to go out drinking at all.

Early 20's - start drinking as soon as I got out of work
Late 20's - try to convince the bride that we should go out drinking
Early 30's - drinking doens't even enter my head, but setting up the house for Turkey Day & hanging some lights in the windows seems to be comsuming my life today - LOL

Of course, since you can't smoke in bars, even if I was still an early 20's drunk, I'd probably be sitting in my apartment with 30-40 close friends

I have no idea why I told this story........

Yeah, I have a lot of running to do today. Got to pick up the Turkey, Pumpkin Cheesecake, Bread mixes and everything that goes with Thanksgiving.

It is going to be a strange one tomorrow since my mother usually does Thanksgiving. Since she is unable this year, we are going to her house and doing all the cooking. It will be strange but I guess, it's all we can do.

And just so everyone knows, except for the Tuesday Radio Show, Christmas week, I will not be around much. I have to get my mothers house as close as it usually is during Christmas. And believe me, she used to go all out for Christmas.

I don't eat turkey or really drink…

Going to spend tomorrow with a few friends over at my eccentric neighbor’s house. I'll watch them consume some poor burnt dead bird and drink enough beer to raise the ocean level when it comes out the other end. Maybe we can get him to take out his boat.

Spend as much time with your family as you can tomorrow, you never know what will happen.

I have a 9pm flight tonight to the Bahamas, where I’ll board one of my favorite cruise ships, to relax my butt off for a few days. Of course, I will have my trusty laptop just incase.
