what hosting companies do you like

We have been hosting with jupiterhosting for years but with the problems over the last few days I am thinking about recommending changing hosting companies. What hosting companies have you used and how would you rate them.

Colo-Cation also host all of my stuff and also hosts this board. Best hosting I've ever had. Chris who posts as cd34 owns it.

I'd have to say definitely zymhosting.com!!! A while back I switched over to them, and so far I couldn't be happier (awesome support, prices are very reasonable).

Brian, I have a server with Rackco.com and am extremely happy with the service/support. Hit Dan up when you get a chance (icq 162-154-557) and let him know what you are looking for. Dan is a pretty cool guy with a lot of experience and I am sure he will be happy to answer any question you might have, tell him Sy sent you (or probably you should not.....j/k...lol)

I recently moved my main sites to ISPrime. Have been absolutely thrilled with their support. Since they have their own noc...staffed 24/7, no matter what time of day or night...things are done in minutes.

The speed of this server and their b/w is hands down the fastest I've ever seen. I plan on being a lifetime customer of ISPrime

You really can't beat colo-cation for any hosting needs. I especially liked the move. I asked him how long it would take and I think the board was down for 5 or 10 mins. And we were moved.

Yeah that was one of the big reasons that I moved to Colo-Cation. Other hosts that I have been on all had some kind of emergency power but often only for a short time until all the batteries went dead. Colo-Cation has real diesel backups with guaranteed supple of diesel plus redundant data pipes so someone digging a ditch who cuts a cable doesn't knock the host down.

Two major hurricanes here and not even a few seconds down despite Colo-Cation being located in Miami and much of Miami losing their power for many days.

Nothing worse then being down for even a short time and losing a lot of your traffic.

Boy howdy...that's a fact! I lost a lot of traffic during my hosting fiasco before changing hosts

Gotta admit, it was VERY impressive that Colo-Cation kept this board up without even a hiccup throughout last hurricane season

Co-Location sounds great.
I just can't afford any of their plans as of yet.

I use Dreamhost

Their plans auto upgrade your disk space and bandwidth every week for as long as you host there.

Great pricing and plans they are okay with porn as long as it's nothing illegal.
