country specific niches

Has anyone here had success targeting specific countries for different types of niche traffic?

I can only assume that because there are many cultures who enjoy certain sexual practices more than the US and Canada that the niche traffic corresponds in similar fashion. Of course per capita internet use and connection speed need to be taken into account along with other variables, but does anyone here have experience with this?

the www.password-by-phone.com gay sites seem to be converting particlarly well in the arabic markets.

This can be attributed to the fact that being gay in most of these countries is considered illegal, so homosexuals go online to satiate their carnal desires.

PbP sites are geo-targeted in 35 languages, including arabic.

I am going to push the shit out of AEBN, and probably use chocker to start getting traffic to the various theaters, I have ALOT of experimenting to do but the help is appreciated.

I find that a lot of the fetish sites seem to be non Nptrh American based. Really noticed it when the CC processors changed the foreign chargeback rules. The drop in sales was almost proportional to the overseas traffic.

I see ccBill is setting up a European/African office. Maybe that will help some.
