Adobe GoLive 9 just released

Adobe GoLive 9

Macworld mentions it as does MacNN.

Looks like this will be the last version released.

I've been using GoLive since before Adobe bought and it was called GoLive CyberStudio. Back then it was Mac only which is probably why DreamWeaver became more dominate. Kind of sucks that Adobe bought it and now is killing it after buying DreamWeaver which I personally can't stand using.

Downloaded the thirty day trial and will probably pay the $170 upgrade fee. So far it looks pretty nice and borrows Photoshop CS3's pallet wells and other UI elements. I'm going to backup all my GoLive 8 jobs and then start using the GoLive 9 trail.

Do you use golive for your galleries? Is it easier to use than dreamweaver? I think dreamweaver is pretty good...but what do you like about golive that makes it better for you than dreamweaver? I do like to be diversified and use more programs. Is it good for making galleries?

I've always preferred Adobe's UI over Macromedia's products. Adobe now owns Macromedia but they haven't changed the UI yet on DReamweaver. I'm guessing that the next version will have the same UI as the rest of Adobe's stuff but only time will tell.

I prefer the UI on Golive and the way the program works over Dreamweaver although I'm still trying to decide if I like this latest version and its emphases on CSS over html tags. Pervious versions were real good about leaving your code alone but this version inserts CSS into your code which I'm not happy about but the UI is the best from Adobe yet.
