Wink Gee Thanks Cleo

Since you made that post regarding Key West yesterday, all I been thinking about is going back to Key West.

We are hoping we sell our house and are living down in FL by Summer, but if not we are looking into 3 or so days in Key West after Internext.

Just what I needed, something else to hold my breath for...

Getting ready to compete in the next drag races?

I haven't been down there in a few years now but I always have a great time when I'm there.

I lived in the middle keys for almost a year and when I was young I use to go camping at the clothing optional campground in Sugarloaf key.

lol, nah not me, I hate running.... =o)~

We been there 2 times, and it's been almost 2 years since the last time, (turned out to be the start of Pride Week) I just like it since its so laid back and a nice get away.

We like to stay at B&B's when we travel but last time we found a small clothing optional resort block off Duval called De Javu but of course they since closed down, so as far as I know Atlantic Shores is the only clothing optional left in Key West.

We have heard a lot of great things regarding diving around Key Largo but that can wait until we move down and will be just a few hours away.

Key Largo does have some great diving, but is a few hour drive from Key West.

I miss the old Keys back in the seventies before everyone found out about them.

a good friend of Mine was in Key West in the Early 70's and just went back this past Dec, it's kind of cool to hear him talk about the changes.

Driving on the old bridges was certainly an interesting experience. LOL Especially when the seven mile one really started falling apart and they had to turn it into a one way bridge as they cut big holes in it so as to install new pillars.

I like to rent those little pink scooters in Key West and just spend a few days going all over the island. Over on one side of the island by the airport has some old country dirt roads to explore that is closed to cars but is fine for the scooters.

we was going to look around the rest of the keys on our last trip, but couldnt find the key deer santuary, they was doing road work in the general area and we didnt see any signs.
