Yesterday was a wash with doctor appts & sleep (mixed in with a little depression) but I got up early & working now (already updated LOR) until another doctor appt, followed by a trip to the accountant to get my taxes done, which I am NOT looking forward to

OH! For those of you following The Bitch Got Fired story: Karma is a BITCH! Her former boss' roof collapsed due to snow/ice on Wed & on Thurs, the new girl he hired didn't show up for work

The Fall on Netflix was awesome!

So is murphy's law... I wait 7 months before I give up and finally put a hitch on my Vette. The day after my leg gets another clot so I can do shit. Now my leg is finally feeling better enough to go kayaking and it is supposed to storm all weekend.



Doing Foxy's updates this morning and then hitting the gym before going grocery shopping.

The new season of House of Cards came out today so will probably start watching that later today.

Good Morning

I did not realize that when Netflix adds shows they produce they just add the whole season in at one time until a couple of days ago. I thought they were just adding in a show a week like everybody else JR

Going to do a bunch of work and watch Orange Is The New Black until Gold Rush is on tonight.

I have the day off so I can bring my daughter to various appointments. I'm currently sitting in the waiting room at her therapist, staring longingly at the receptionist. Have you ever seen anyone other than me who you had a really strong urge to kiss?

Good afternoon all. Got home this morning around 8:30 and worked for a few hours then ran errands. Cleaning and unpacking the rec room mostly then gonna relax to some TV shows and a movie or 2.

Am I the first man ever to complain that women don't take enough time in the toilet?

Because she has kids my sister rarely goes out for dinner, so when we meet up it is usually at her place and either she cooks or she gets a take-away which she pays for (or forces her husband to do so). As a result I owe her dinner many times over. Last night I decided I had to pay, but I knew that (because it was my birthday) that she would insist on paying.

However, I had a cunning plan. I know that she always goes to the restaurant toilet before asking for a bill (because she usually has a slow train journey home). This time, the moment she disappeared I called the waiter over and asked for the bill, intending to pay before she got back. Unfortunately my sister is the only woman ever to be too quick in the rest room. She caught me, and I got yelled at in a crowded restaurant.

And short of punching her unconscious, there was no way to stop her paying the bill.

In Britain it is considered "bad form" to punch a woman unconscious in a restaurant, even if she is your sister.

I'm not sure which makes me sadder; the fact that you have a sport in America that is basically "competitive bacon eating", or the fact that they actually film it.

However, if it ever spreads to the Olympics I might actually be in with a chance of a medal!
