Am I the first man ever to complain that women don't take enough time in the toilet?

Because she has kids my sister rarely goes out for dinner, so when we meet up it is usually at her place and either she cooks or she gets a take-away which she pays for (or forces her husband to do so). As a result I owe her dinner many times over. Last night I decided I had to pay, but I knew that (because it was my birthday) that she would insist on paying.

However, I had a cunning plan. I know that she always goes to the restaurant toilet before asking for a bill (because she usually has a slow train journey home). This time, the moment she disappeared I called the waiter over and asked for the bill, intending to pay before she got back. Unfortunately my sister is the only woman ever to be too quick in the rest room. She caught me, and I got yelled at in a crowded restaurant.

And short of punching her unconscious, there was no way to stop her paying the bill.

In Britain it is considered "bad form" to punch a woman unconscious in a restaurant, even if she is your sister.

I'm not sure which makes me sadder; the fact that you have a sport in America that is basically "competitive bacon eating", or the fact that they actually film it.

However, if it ever spreads to the Olympics I might actually be in with a chance of a medal!
