The poms do enjoy stereotyping us as a bunch of uncultural ex-convicts. Indeed, it's quite sad when they come over and start making convict jokes. We just shake our heads; that's ancient history. Of course, if you said we're a nation of bogans, that might ring more true  Our stereotype is that the English are whingers who won't take a bath.
