When he is next to you you should fart louder and stinkier than he is doing it ... but then again he could feel threatened and that could lead for you to loose your job.

Jokes aside but I feel you UW, in my previous job I was a foreman, my boss very often didn't know what is happening on daily basis on projects we were doing and yet when he visited us once a week he acted like everything what we did was " ... fucking slow and and wrong ... half hour rant ..." then he just grabbed the checks and he was gone. BTW, client was always happy.
Heads up, nothing lasts forever and everyone has it's own ups and downs.

Right now I'm in a bit different situation where I'm doing better for myself and without annoying bosses, but that has its own price. If anything goes wrong I'm the one who to blame
