Never thought I'd be rooting for the Jets

well the PAtriots are now 21 - 1 over the last 22 regular and post season games

but they'll be starting a new streak soon, if not this week next week against the Bills

Well well well, 9-0 or 8-1? This is the closest for me yet.

I thought my RBs were going to have a tough week. I even mentioned it in another thread. But I didn't expect them, Holmes and Curtis Martin, plus Terrell Owens to have their worst week this season all the same week.

It's not over yet though. Manning only needs 17 pts which is easy. The question is will he get 17 more points than wide receiver Reggie Wayne who Torn has playing?

We shall see.

The game is over and Clark did okay for you Jim.

I needed 17 to win and I got it and then some. Manning had 4 TDs tonight and 2 of them was to tightend Pollard who I happen to have too so I won by 18, 91-73.

Sorry Torn, you put up a good fight.

My team sucks - I can't stand that Cullpepper's not doing a damn thing if Moss isn't in the game. And it didn't help that Moore was out too

Oh well, at least everyone else in my division lost too

Of course, this week I have 5 guys on my roster that are on bye's - great week to play for 2nd overall

Seeing as this is the 1st time since Week 6 that I won in our little ESPN League - and seeing as I'm stll in 2nd overall after going 1-3 in that time, I'm feeling like I should rub it in a bit

Yeah this is sad, over the last 3 weeks I am 2 - 13 for my 5 teams and I have 3 weeks to get 3 of them into the playoffs. (1 team is a lock to make the playoffs and 1 team is...... dead)

I think Matrix’s and my game last night shows how incredibly stupid ESPN scoring system is.

A QB with 340 yards and 4 TD's (2 over 50 yards) and 0 INTs scores 34 points

A TE with 133 yards and 2 TD's scores 25 points.

I'm not bitching about losing, I lost, Matrix won, but this scoring system is just lame. QB's only get 4 points for a TD, everyone else get's 6, QB’s get 1 point for every 25 yards passing, and everyone else has 1 point for 10 yards.

ESPN really needs to make this more balanced, QB’s are getting shafted.

You have to give QBs less since you know they will throw TDs and get a lot of yards. But then again I have Manning so anytime they want to up the points for QBs I'm game.

It's lame that you lost. A TE getting 25 pts is unheard of and you only lost by 9.

I checked the score this morning and as soon as I saw that Mcnabb had 4TD's I thought I was done. I did not even check Whitton's stats until I just logged in a few minutes ago. Good game though, I just got a bit lucky this week.
