I just got back from taking a picture of that sign..it has to be aClassic.. and hopefully if Walgreen's cooperates i'll soon have a pic to upload.. *i'm digitally impared at the moment*..

there are certain urban areas in any metropolitan city that urban "blight" has taken over.. however it's not long until the need for affordable housing hits...and the gentrification part starts..

..such is this neighborhood, Columbia City, in the Rainier Valley area.

and the 1st to move in are the immigrating ethnic groups. Here they are Sudaneese and Vietnameese.

next..is the 'gay' population and there are signs already of this happening. There is a new starbucks and a couple of trendy shops among the "pho" and "hair braiding" places.

Once the word is out that

"TWINKS Early Childhood Development Center"

is located there, i'm sure there won't be a basement studio, a week to week hotel room or a section 8 apartment to be found. all very tastefully decorated.
