Is the whois info really a big issue? So far I haven't gotten any rejection e-mails regarding it. I've only really seen it mentioned on this message board. Personally, I don't want my home address and phone number out there for everyone to see. I don't have a problem giving that info to anyone I do business with. I'm not sure if I've submitted to your website. If so, I'd be happy to give you that information. But I don't want complete strangers having access to my private residence. I guess I could either enter incorrect information or get a POBox and pager number. But would that really be any better? Are there many other LL that reject based on whois info? |

This is a growing concern in the community not that 2.9 out of 3 submitters are cheaters. Hiding your whois info and bogus whois is an early warning that someone is a cheater. The rest of us let it all hang out and so should you. Do a whois on my domains. This is what you'll see: Mark DeMers 31 Harrsion Ave Glens Falls, NY 12801 518.745.5492 Greenguy and can even vouch for the validity of my home address. That's where he mailed the Buddy Christ that rests upon my moniter. Honest webmasters have nothing to hide.
