Some sponsors seem to think they own the clicks you send them, whereas my understanding is that the surfer is mine until he clicks on their site. This means no re-direction, popups, downloads, installs or uncredited sales solicitations until he clicks (and even then I think I should get some credit). I guess it's a bit more complex when he supplied the content to attract the surfer to my site.

even if they supply the content it is for you to send traffic to the site you are promoting so they will sign up, not to sell all the other bullshit they throw at surfers first
