I lived in Manhattan in the 80s and only kept a car to drive to Conn., LI or Upstate NY (does anywhere else have an 'upstate'?). Co-op had a basement garage with two spots I should have rented out if I'd been smarter.

It's funny, I grew up in Upstate NY....what was interesting is everyones defintion of upstate was different depending on what part of the state you were from.
