OMG, I see two trucks of electric crews in front of my house! Last night I got an automated call from our electric company saying that my power had been restored and to press 2 if this was incorrect.

My neighbor across the street and me has been betting on who will get power first. She just has just one broken wire and power is one house away from having power. I have three broken poles and I'm three houses away from having power. Oddly they seem to be fixing the worst problems first so I have my hopes up that today will be my lucky day.

I'm just very thankful for having the foresight to have bought a generator and supplies at the beginning of this year's storm season and that the weather has been very pleasant with very little real need for A/C.

Who knows… I may be able to turn on my central A/C and sleep in with my windows and blinds closed tonight. Crossing my fingers, arms, legs, toes, tits, and ears.
