I kind of see the nominations for the Xbizawards as a Webmaster's Choice Award. Afterall, it is the webmasters that do the nominating and just a small group of judges that pick the winners.
But a real Webmaster's Choice Award would be great. The only problem would be to make sure that the voting box didn't get stuffed..if you know what I mean. One vote, one person... |

How about limiting the nominations as well. Isn't it a little silly to nominate one's self? Personally I have backed out of judging one of these 'competitions' due to the judging criteria. I found it offensive and did not want to be associated any longer. |
