I know why I want to start LL. I don't want to waste my 404 traffic and I want to get better position on SE.

I wanted to ask you guys which are the good things when you have LL and which are bad.

Then build a good hub on your index and send your 404 traffic to your hub.

Your conversions will be better on your free-sites and as for time/effort/expense vs. income for a new linklist, there is no comparison...stick with free-sites as they are far more profitable in the short term.

I'm not saying this because I'm afraid of new competition...I'm saying this because no one warned me -- now mind you I enjoy running a LL far more then I did creating free-sites so I'm happy. A linklist will take a long time and a lot of effort to become profitable and there's tons of competition already out there.
