I'm not sure exactly what your question is, but I'll give you my two cents as someone who's been running an "amateur/niche/fetish" site for 3 years.
Pick something that you love, something that turns *you* on. Sell what you *know*, not what seems like the latest fad. Don't pick a certain niche because some board tells you that it's profitable. I see so many niche/fetish sites run by people who obviously don't understand their audience in the least bit, and I can't imagine they convert that well. Selling something you know and love will be more fun, and in the long run, should be more profitable, too. |
