I just use ctrl+shift+F12 from Dreamweaver to launch my pages in IE.

Yea...I remember DW having that feature...always liked it. But, quit using DW a long time ago...I'm one of those hand coding dinosaurs

The point to the FF extension is being able to view your sites FF...and at a click also check it in IE.

Does it add a new toolbar, or just add an icon or drop menu?

I wonder if there's a version that works with Mozilla? The die hard Netscape user in me prefers that over FireFox.

Nope...this extension integrates into the FF menus. Can also activate 'View in IE' via right clicking on any page.

Then, there's the 'screen grab' extension...also very handy...but I digress

Beyond any possible security benefits of FF, the extensions and adaptability of the browser are what converted me. There are some tools that make my job as a webmaster a LOT easier
