Paysite tour page sizes and loads

I would add this: I am seeing the poorest sales generally on sites using the older style "panel" tours. Trying to make the tour fit in an 800 X 600 without any scroll in any direction I think right now reads as "this is an old site".

There is no magic, but as SirMoby said, it you are aiming to a higher end clientelle, then you probably can let yourself sneak out to nearer 1000 wide without too much problem, or at least using a full 800 rather than 720 or so to assure no side scroll.
