Interesting comment by the Hun there. I always wondered about freesites myself. I mean, if they get through a linklist, then they've already supposedly went through a warning page, or at least they should be only too aware by now that this is porn.
I don't mind the warning page myself, as mentioned here, it looks to me like a good sales page, and another filter before they reach the free porn, I just wonder about the logic behind demanding it as a LL.

it also, in my mind, is just a way to trying to convince a surfer that they are actually seeing a 'site' for free, instead of a 4 page ad ![]() spaz |

Rock stars ... is there anything they don't know?

Warning Page = Modest attempt at "self regulation" ... something the adult industry needs, to help avoid US Government intervention.
As for the hun's comment on warning pages, he is simply referring to galleries. Don't put a "warning" page on the entrance to your gallery, that would just be silly. -Warning pages at the root of your domain give you the benefit of being able to use an FPA that is seen by your bookmark base. -A warning page gives you the ability to at least make an attempt to keep minors from accessing porn. -IMO a warning page shouldn't damage your rankings in the serps. As long as your onpage SEO & incoming links don't change. Just make sure your entire site is still easily spiderable through a sitemap. |
