conversion rates

What exactly are those conversion rates?

X:Y means that you get X sales of every Y unique hits on your free site/gallery, or that you get X sales every Y unique hits to sponsor (hits comming from your free site/gallery) ?

Overall? around 1:5000. Could be more.

I don't really care.

From ccbill sponsors I push on freesites/freesitehubs, which do get steady little bitsies of search traffic it seems fluctuate around 1:1,400. As time has gone on my ratios have slowly started to fall. I'm still searching for the right programs.

That's hits to sponsors. I don't look at raw hits to my own pages. Just referred hits when it's time to cull the herd, and bandwidth near the end of each month.
