		 Since we haven't seen a post that this is solved yet, let me offer some potential workarounds if you need that page to display and still can't upload it. 
		
	
		
		
		
		
		
		
			First ... Can you open and edit a file on your server with your ftp program? If you can, try opening the blank index.html file and pasting in the contents from your local copy of your index page. Second ... Can you create a new file on your server with your ftp program? If you can, try creating a new file named index.html and pasting in the contents from your local copy of your index page. -- you can also try creating a file with a different name, pasting in the contents you want, and then renaming the file.
