Your concern should not be whether to go PPS or revshare, but the absolute income potential of the sites/sponsors you promote. It's all very well people talking about revshare as some kind of insurance or whatever, but that only works if your total income doesn't suffer as a result.
I'm a fan of revshare because the type of sites which run successful revshare programs are those which give most of their visitors a positive experience. But there are very few such programs and over the past couple of years I have seen revshare being devalued by start-ups using it to minimize their risk, while not having what it takes to acheive good renewal ratios. In short, if you are convinced that a site is good enough to keep its members renewing, revshare every time. But if a site only has a strong tour, then either leave it alone or go PPS. |
