An abc trade would only have three sites (You link to my site "A" from your site "B", I link to your site "B" from my site "C").
If my site "A" was new and had a PR of 0, no one would want to trade with it. Now, if I give you a link back from a PR3 or higher site (C) then you (B) might trade with me and help site "A". |goodidea It also helps established sites as there is no reciprocal link.
