I agree with Sheepguy - if they don't list you in a reasonable period then delete them from your submit list. They are getting the benefit of a link for months and months before listing you - doesn't seem fair to me.

What would be of benefit to submitters as well would be a dead link lists thread where a listing of all non-functioning LL could be maintained. Any thoughts?

I agree in principal, and it's simply unfair to not be informed that you aren't going to be listed ever. But late listings seem okay to me. Better late than never?
If I get feedback from a member here, or a link list owner, telling me that someone is behind with reviews then surely the traffic that will eventually be sent makes it worthwhile to wait it out.

How much of a benefit to link lists are freesite recip links? I can't see that much traffic would be sent from a recip table, and then there's the back links value and all that. But I think the value of our recip links on freesites is shrinking all the time, if I understand some of the PR related threads here that I've been reading.
I also think that it won't be long before recip tables are gone, dropped forever. I have no idea what will come next. Maybe just trusted regular submitters....I'm drifting off topic, sorry.

Maybe it also depends on how many recips you use. One table of 9-20 recips means every space is precious. Up nearer 100 link lists with a few mirrors and each recip link looks less important.

I'd like to see that implemented. Definately. Another part to that is just as multi-freesite-submitters etc get blacklisted, it would be nice to see a list of "bad" link lists, or something like that.

Triple XXX world has a nice little status area where you can see the sites you submitted, and the status. No reason is given for being denied, still you at least know where you stand. It requires a registration (done instantly). Would love to see more of that kind of thing.
