Well my concern was because you can group sites together under one account. Doing this tells sites are all related to each other. I wonder if they take this into account when they look at backlinks between these sites? Has anybody heard of anything like this?

They already know what you own. They became a registered registrar just so they'd know who owns what. I assume that if Google learns to trust you, it would be beneficial that they know which sites are yours. If they don't trust you, it wouldn't be so nice. That's the best guess my Associates degree in Liberal Arts can come up with.

I use it on one of my sites, the stats are really good as there's a ton of information there. The only downside the tendency to analyze the snot out of everything, which is kinda time consuming

edit to add: actually, my google traffic has been steadily increasing too, I don't think it's related but you never know...
