How many recips = too many?

Just had one accepted by sex-hot-sites.com with 16 - have another pending with the same recip table. Guess we'll see.

My main consideration is how it fits and looks on the page - and hell, if it looks good, I'm not counting.

Well, if you use 20 you'll get a nice message :

Your link that was submitted to sex-hot-sites.com has been rejected
for the following reason:
- More Then 16 reciprocal banners on page

Shit - maybe I'll put 17 on all my sites - just to whittle my submit list down a bit.
