I agree with UW, if they are making money charging to show other sponsors content then I would imagine some future problems.

I also like how they know what percentage of our traffic is freeloaders. Also, how are they going to make freeloaders pay for what they already know they can come to my site and get for free?

We charge for the convinience to have it all easy searchable, the other search engines "charge" by showing ads.

that means that from 1000 people, 999 dont join and just one joins.
1 is 0.01% from 1000

That ratio depends on a great number of factors, how extensive is your research? Is it a guess or are numbers backing this up?

Maybe they would, but why would they when they have it all for free right now? IMHO your site is doing nothing new other than trying to charge surfers to view free porn which is not really new either, as far as an idea. All that being said, it will be interesting to see how the site does and what happens in the future.

I've took what's considered to be industry standart ok ratio nowadays
its just an example, i dont pretend for scientific precision
anyway, its for sure under 1% (even 1:100 which is considered to be ok SE ratio, means that 99% are free loaders)
