Almost any board is like a large group of friends, but this board tends to be an especially close-knit group of webmasters. And believe it or not, most of us are very nice. At least to each other. Get to know us. Maybe send each of us an envelope with a couple hundred dollars and your business card. That's been known to work very well. Me, I warm up pretty quickly to girls who sit on my lap when I'm drunk and tell me how much they love cock. Even if I do discover how skanky they are when I sober up. (Yes, Preacher, fuck you! )

Trust me, Useless is a grumpy old fuck but he's pretty harmless if you don't crawl into his cage with him. But I imagine he'd get real pissed of if I sat on his lap

About the sig lengths: the easiest way to NOT mistakenly go over the text limit is to write your text in a text editor and look at the column count (usually in the lower right hand corner of the app.) It eliminates the possibility of human error when counting out the characters by hand in the web browser. Then just paste the text in the sig text box. But I think the board's script catches long sigs anyway and it should tell you it's over the limit (I could be wrong.)
