mml nobody said its easy to diet, going on a diet sucks, if you have to loose a 100 kilos or 2 kilos both ways are hell! |

Make sure you are not eating too little calories...your body will go into starvation mode, and horde every calorie you eat. I ALWAYS lose weight very slowly, I'm losing a few pounds right now, but normally after about 5lbs, I start to lose about a pound a week if I'm lucky, and it is really frustrating. Hang in there!
Here is a tool to see how many calories to maintain your weight, then just try to cut 500 or so a day. Someone your size should not suddenly go down to 1000 calories a day, you just won't lose the weight.

Body fat is a food reserve, we're a bit like camels in some ways.
Once you start reducing your intake your body will start to burn off fat but depending on your metabilism will determin how quickly that will start. Just like everyone else you're doing well to take on the challenge. |
