The Original Greenguy (Est'd 1996) & AVN HOF Member - I Crop Pics For Thumbs In My Sleep
|
A lot of places allow it - these's a bunch in this thread:
http://www.greenguysboard.com/board/...ad.php?t=51317 I like it for programs I trust & have done business with in the past (odds are I'm not going to sign up to a program today & have a hosted banner flying tomorrow) I'm really liking the Nasty Dollars & Bang Bros hosted ads that rotate with each episode update or allow you to post the last updates from multiple sites. I've not heard of anyone that allows hotlinking pics or everything from a gallery page (unless you're confusing them with hosted galleries?) |

for example an affiliate's page: Code:
http://www.this-affiliate.com/this-gallery/index.html <a href="http://this-sponsor.com/this-image.jpg"><img src="http://this-sponsor.com/this-thumb.jpg"></a> all the way through. I understand the examples where it would be necessary, as nate, AJ and tickler pointed out above: hosted flv's, gallery of the day, pic of the day, etc... what caught my attention was the above galleries and the affiliate using: Code:
http://this-sponsor.com/this-image.jpg Code:
http://www.this-affiliate.com I hadn't noticed any affiliates doing things like this before I saw this affiliates site. thanks |
