About Starting a new LL

Best advice: Don't do anything, but if you must...

I used sponsor free sites to fill cat's and I don't think it looked spammy, I mixed them up though so I didn't have five in a row from the same sponsor (their free sites tend to be cookie cutter sites)

Copying free sites that are already listed at LL's shouldn't be a problem, like you say, their recip is already there.

If you take submissions, don't wait till you have x number of sites, go ahead and list them as you get them. Webmasters will appreciate that.

I started out listing only free sites but now take gallery pages and pic posts from those here at the board. Your call on what you want to list.

And there are several here that have clean (no recip links) free sites you can use to start populating your cat's. Here's mine, I'm sure others will post theirs Clean sites

Thanks for the input, but I am curious as to why the best advice would be to not do anything? Better than creating another Tube Site or TGP no? I think Link Lists serve the AW fairer than TGP's or Tubes do.

I think the reason Licker says not to do anything is that there are already thousands of LL's out there and unless yours is radically better than what's now available you likely won't make a lot of money with it.

Damn SheepGuy, I never saw that link til just now. That is very informing, I appreciate the info. I am not as concerned with the money intially as I would be with just getting the experience and stuff. If I didn't turn a profit for a year it really wouldn't be that big a deal for me, as I have many other streams of income.

Very informative though, most people don't open up like he did, ego gets in the way.

Hmm, good advice for both arguments here. Yes, you are right, there are already a million other LL's out there and what good is one more. But there are a lot of every kind of site out there so if you go by that you will just not do anything unless it is truly pioneering.

Why would a LL be so different to monetize than a FS? Both surfers are the same person no? Looking for free porn, but possibly something more. I dunno, maybe it is, that is why I am asking anyway right?

Oh and thanks for offers to copy listings if needed, as well as clean FS. I haven't decided yet. I know this, if I did one it would be a good one, not some half assed attempt at one.

This is definitely the board to be on for advice on LL.
