Because a while back a couple of linklists snuck in extra links into their "required" recip, leaching off the linkjuice unfairly from other linklists.
Thus causing the statement of a new rule on some linklists. Everybody stopped doing it after they realized they weren't going to be rewarded for their leaching, so now the rule rarely applies. Like many rules, its an artifact of an earlier attempt to cheat or game the system. |
