Did you have to do a full reinstall?
This may come in handy for peace of mind for the future: http://www.cnn.com/2004/TECH/ptech/0....ap/index.html Did the drive give any indication it was failing? You run scandisk once in a while? Did you have the latest driver/firmware for the controller? Regardles- it really sucks. Sorry man.  |
