I don't think the camera actually leaked. I think it's more a case of moister buildup inside the case from handling the battery and flash card. I have the container sitting with the camera in it in the back yard out in the sun. Maybe I should add some rice to the container too. Sorry to hear that your contract fell through but it's always good to have a passport anyway. |

Not everyone just happens to have that lying around. More people have rice laying around. I think I could probably get about 30-40 of those desiccant packets from hard drives that we've ordered... haha

I guess I'm not most people.
![]() We have the disposable packets of desiccant for use in our waterproof cases and then that big metal container of desiccant that can be heated and reused for drying out electronics like cameras, phones and whatever else gets moister in it despite our best efforts to keep everything dry. The joys of water sports and electronics. |
