I too hate new windows when I dont ask for them... If I want to open something in a new window.. I will right click and do that...
Back buttons aint hard work.. and there are plenty of choices... back button , ALT <- , backspace It is also not to hard to give the surfer a choice.. with a little bit of extra code..  DD
