It concerns me when the new paradigm is adapt or die at virtually any cost. You can only end up becoming a serf to the Lord who originally screwed you over -- but I guess people have to eat. Some tubes "delete" DMCAed videos by renaming them and changing the uploader name while others hire outsourcing firms in south Asia to be "third party" uploaders. Where does it end?

One thing I should mention is that the owners of Manwin are not known. Manwin is a privately held, off-shore corporation. To my knowledge, Fabian has never shown proof of majority ownership. For a different perspective about Manwin read MikeSouth.com .

That is not the new paradigm, it is a very old paradigm. In fact it is such an old paradigm that it goes back to the invention of commerce. From the first time a caveman offered to trade an animal skin for a wooden club the rule has been "adapt or die". Once iron was discovered the trade would be for a metal axe, who wants a wooden club when metal weapons are available?

And this goes on right through history, including today. For example, there was a video rental shop down the road from me, and when DVD came in he decided to stick with video. He did not last long. Nowadays DVD rental stores are in the same situation with Blue Ray. And someday soon, Blue Ray rental stores will changing to whatever tomorrow's technology brings.

And this is also true in the porn industry. We are not magic. We do not exist separately from the rest of the world. We need to adapt or die too!

Personally (and this is an IMHO) I think the way forward is to push non-porn products on porn sites. Or at least the type of porn that is not easily available for free. At the moment, on most of my sites, about 30% of adverts are for traditional sponsors, 40% are for the adult eBooks mentioned in my signature, and about 30% are totally non porn. My earnings from my adult websites are about 10% traditional sponsors, 30% adult eBooks, and 60% non-porn. In other words I make three times as much from the eBooks than from traditional sponsors, and six times as much from non porn.

But up to the turn of the century my profits would have been 100% traditional sponsors. - I am evolving and adapting.
