Google maps says its a 42 hour drive for me so not sure I'd make it tonight - but sure would give it a try - anything to get out of Humboldt County

I've always said America is too big, and that proves it. If I spent 42 hours driving I'd either have to drive round in circles or drive most of it out into the ocean.

I like the idea that I live on an island that is big enough to house 60 million people but small enough that nowhere is so far from the coast that you can't walk to the sea in less than a day (or drive there in less than two hours).
