WeatherBug says it is in the forties but our outdoor temperature sensor says it is 61˚F outside. Living next to the ocean and being surrounded by water keeps the temps on the East side milder than inland.
Just a day of work planned along with picking up Christy's contacts this afternoon. If it gets warm enough and doesn't rain I'll ride my bicycle to pick them up. |

Been house sitting for a friend for the past few days (fortunately this friend lives in an area with mobile broadband access). He is due back this afternoon, but I am in the south of England where there are high winds and storms, so may be getting a message saying he has been diverted to a northern (or Scottish) airport and needs me to stay an extra day while he travels from one end of the country to the other.
Despite the wind and rain it is not too cold here (cold enough to want to be warmer but not extreme). The news was full of the US weather yesterday, gleefully telling us that in some parts of America it is so cold that if stay outside for more than ten minuites your eyeballs will freeze solid in your head! So do the people at Troma know this? If so, is LLoyd Kaufman out filming stock footage and trying to work out how to fit it into his next seventeen movies? |

Good morning world

Had some fun yesterday joining three neighbors for some bocce games at the local park before the rains moved in. No errands to run and no plans to do anything outside today, so the temp won't matter much except for trading an a/c bill for an oven bill. Wishing a good day to all. ![]()
