Your First Sponsor?
This probably seems like an odd question, but who was your first sponsor? It was something I was thinking about last night as I clicked through my old sponsor list to see which ones are still around. Traffic Cash Gold was my first one, or at least the first big, well-established one. It looks like it must have been sold at one point, but is now with the original owner again. I logged in for giggles, and everything is pretty, but they don't have any hosted galleries listed. So odd.
Anyway, which sponsor broke your cherry and do they still exist? If so, do you still promote them? |

SIC Cash, was my first. Figured out they were shaving fools real fast. Doubt they still exist. Hell, I don't even exist anymore. I pulled the plug on my server months ago. Coming back in a year or so with my own thing that doesn't depend on any affiliate links. I hate following rules.

Max Cash Followed by someone with a name beginning with U (Ultimate, Ultra, or something) who went to the wall about the turn of the century.
I never liked the U one much because all their links went to a page that immediately re-directed, making it difficult for an ignorant sponsor to get back to my page (hit "back" once and you went to the redirect page, which threw you back on the sponsor's site). Back then most link lists banned opening sponsors in a new window (still, years later, have no idea why) so there was no way round this. Currently still finding old Max Cash links on my older sites that need deleting! |

Cyber Erotica before it was CEcash, I put up some ads, didn't know much about html at the time. I wasn't ready. I returned to the scene about 6 months later after reading html4 for dummies, and started using FlashCash. They were friendly and helpful to a newbie like me. Then a whole year later... my first check... it was actually from HustlerCash Had Larry Flynts name on it. That was cool.

Made some free sites from computer at work, forgot about them and 6 months later I got a check for $29.xx. Seems I made a sale and it rebilled once or twice. I went out and bought my own computer and started my empire lol. |

WCPcash. It was a friends company. Was submitting loads of galleries just to a bunch of free tgps. Dipped my toe in the water. Suddenly would have days on 7-10 sales. Then it started to snowball from there. I started doing work for them. Figured out that I should be promoting a whole host of other things.
Back then I wrote this super splog generator in perl and I was spinning up around 2k-5k blogs a day. Just total trash. Would set and forget. Just smashing keyword lists and had this lame sidebar linking strategy. It worked really well. It was just a total numbers game. Was so stupid easy that then I started making paysites for west coast while having some other lame things. Made my own link list shit software that still runs my sites that don't get updated anymore... Ugh. I miss those days. I left so much money on the table too. Oh well. Gamma Cash, and I still have my first check I ever received on the wall. It originally was "lost in the mail" and they reissued it, and it showed up about a month later so I kept it.
And they are still around, although haven't had a check from them in years.

Pretty sure the first program I used was Maxcash! Isn't that the program that RB owned? Also CEcash was there early for me. Did do well with Tommy's program when He started it.
Now, I just look at porn |

My first sponsors were WSA and various small programs from the Ukraine like Harry Red ... and Grooby. Most were running on Verotel and CCBill. Larger sponsors always looked suspicious to me. Luckily, I stayed away from them.
