Netflix uses MPEG-DASH streaming technology. You will need an html5 video player (or make one with JS) that utilizes this. Such as Silverlight
 some kind of streaming server on a cdn or rpm server. There are services such as wowza and a few I forget the names of. Or All in one hosting solutions like Red Apple Media, AdultCentro, etc. Ask your host if they have a streaming solution, Anything worthwhile likely has some sort of DRM these days.I have been researching this very same issue. Still as a startup I am not 100% sure. Likely I will setup Kaltura on an RPM server, or wowza and flowplayer... |
