Thursday April 2nd (aka It's Thursday??)

Kid on the train today all of 12 years old was looking at the dot matrix "next stop" indicator board and was discussing the relative merits of the font! When I was 12 the only font I knew was the one I was baptised in, and if it were not for my Christian upbringing I wouldn't even have known that definition. I would probably assumed "Font" was a verbal description of the sound effect created by dropping a hessian sack, half filled with custard, on a linoleum covered floor.

I dropped the end of the puppy's lead today while walking him. It is one of those retractable leads with a big reel on the end. It retracted and moved towards him, and he ran from it in fear. After it finished retracting it was still obviously following him, because the other end was attached to his harness. Took me two minutes to calm him down and stop him as he ran in terror from the end of his own lead!

Dogs are stupid.
