No longer waiting for my California refund, but I could use more money coming in.
It's Friday which means it's time to do Foxy's updates. I really wish she would start shooting exclusive content again. Work and errands with the possibility of the gym or a bike ride is today's plans so far. Tomorrow I'm helping someone move and Sunday I'm doing a paddle. The Mad Max reboot looks good. ![]() |

I can remember when I saw the first Mad Max film. I missed it at the cinema, but caught up with it at a comic convention run by the ex-head of Marvel UK. Up to that point they had been screening academy ratio movies. Mad Max was widescreen, and the projector could not size down the picture enough to fit it on the screen. So they ripped out the seats from the front half of the hall and moved the screen back to half way down the auditorium. Great fun!
It was a two day convention, and I had not been able to afford a hotel room. But they were showing films all night, so after Mad Max I pushed five seats together to make a bed. Unfortunately Godzilla kept roaring and waking me up! ![]() The ridgeback just saved us from a vicious cushion that was going to leap off the couch and kill us all. He dragged it onto the roof, shook it to death, then beat it on the flagstones just to make sure. After that he ran backwards and forwards across the roof proudly holding the dead cushion in his mouth. I hope it wasn't an expensive cushion, because it is ruined now. The husky was sleeping on the roof - or at least trying to. He eventually got fed up and jumped up barking at the ridgeback who stopped submissively (although the ridgeback is younger and stronger that the husky, he respects his authority). The husky then looked at me, and I swear his expression said "Kids, what can you do with them?" |
