Good afternoon

Been up and working as usual. Also watched American Sniper a couple of nights ago and also thought it was a good movie, well done overall. Sad the guy gets killed by a veteran he was trying to help.

While walking my friends dogs today I got talking to a woman walking her dog. She recognised the puppy as she had seen my friend walking him the other day. She was gushingly flattering about my friend calling him "witty", "funny", and "a great guy". She obviously had a crush on him.

I later told my friend this, and if he had left it there he would probably still be smiling with pleasure. Unfortunately he got me to repeat the story to his civil partner who recognised the woman from my description of her dog. His partner's response was "She has a very attractive boyfriend. Next time you see her ask her if she wants to do a swap, I'd be trading up!"

I did not help matters by pointing out that when she said he was a "wit" she was only half right!
